The Political Department of the General Staff

explains the meaning of the "Three Aspects of Democracy

#

Cuite opposed to Lenin's Communism.

Lenin's doctrine is one of violence. Sun Man's one

of moderation.

The Political Department of the General Staff of the National Revolutionary Army, in order that the proletariat may understand Sun Chung San's "Three Aspects

of Democracy", has issued the following explanation of the difference between Lenin's Communism and Sun Chung

San's "Three Aspects of Democracy".

The Three Peoples' Principles" enunciated by

our president represent a doctrine which is both clear

and complete in the extreme. But ever since the Chinese

Communists thrust themselves into the Kuomintang not

only have all their actions becn calculated to confuse

and destroy the revolutionary work of the party but

in addition they have misinterpreted the very Bible of

the Revolution by issuing misleading abbreviations of

the "Three Aspects of Democracy" thus confounding the

understanding of the people. Accordingly our urifica- tion Movement must explain clearly what the Three

People's Doctrine means and compare it clearly with

Chinese Communiam in order to remove the people's doubts

to eradicate intrigue and to prevent in future misinter-

pretations of the Teaching.

The "Three Aspects of Democracy" consist of

Nationalism, Democracy, and Socialism, and are independ-

ent and united. These three principles are badly needed by

China in the present age. We cannot do without any

element of the three; but in spirit they are one and indivi-

sible.
